The marriage of music and cartoons harks back to the beginnings of the film industry, launched by Walt Disney’s first shorts. It has proven to be a winning combination at all times, and even in Italy it has produced recordings whose success is totally dependent on television. The collection includes famous theme songs from cartoons imported mostly from the United States and Japan in the 1980s and 1990s, and therefore with lyrics and music often adapted to suit the tastes of the Italian public.
