“l” as in love
Quoting a well-known song written by Maestro Bruno Martino, we decided to retrace a musical path made up of sweeping themes dedicated to love. The 1930s to the 1950s were three decades of great love songs. These classics often came from successful films, as is the case with Parlami d'amore Mariù or less well-known but equally evocative songs.
And then there are those songs that became part of the collective imagination because they symbolized an era or a city, like some of the early repertoire of Claudio Villa, a rising star of Italian song just after the war.
